I hate when middle-schoolers say that they want a "serious relationship". Bitch, you still order off of the kids menu.

My classmates do that. I just want to wring their necks...metaphorically, of course. Then they let their "crush" do their hair, borrow their clothes, write on their hands, but then decorate their binder with their crush's name.

I'm in middle school, I agree, but all of us haven't ordered off the kids menu in YEARS, so YEAH.

HAHA so true. I remember in middle school, my friend was "in a relationship" with a guy and they wouldn't even dance with each other at the dances despite their friends trying to get them to.

people at my middle school don't get boyfriends/girlfriends because we don't take ourselves seriously...

Someone in my class drops her pencil next to me so she can talk to the person behind me. I don't care if your boyfriend kissed your best friend, because that was a week ago when she was dating him! Yeesh, populars.

Along with any couple who has been together for a few days, and all of a sudden "OMG you're my soulmate I'm madly in love with you!"

Are you serious? That's stereotyping. When I was in middle school, I was really mature for my age, and what is wrong with ordering off of the kids menu? That's just getting the same food in smaller portions... Middle schoolers mature of age can have thoughts like wanting a serious-relationship, why not. You probably hate this because you weren't so mature when you were in middle school.

Gosh I despise those types of middle schoolers. My brother is in 8th grade and his girl friends decided to do their version of TPing by writing all over our driveway "sweetie" "cutie pie" "you make us good girls go bad" in chalk. The girl's MOM drove them here. Really, if the mom is driving them to that kind of wanna-be crap then they obviously aren't old enough to bother! Along with the "serious relationships" they do need to grow up!

Yeah. I myself am in 8th grade and (while i do not order off the kid's menu, though it doesn't matter) i agree with you about the "relationship" thing. I have a crush, but when and if we ever do become "bf/gf", I'll make it clear to him that it's just for fun, not serious. Two of my friends are "madly in love" (they've planned their freaking wedding already) and, while it was cute at first, has just gotten plain annoying. They blow everyone else off for each other, and they've broken up before.

i'm 12, and my friends don't order from the kids menu unless we want to for fun, and you're right, one of my friends is 13 and her bf was scared he might have got her pregnant. i mean seriously, if you're so worried about that, use a condom.

Or wait, you're fucking 13. Whatever happened to handjobs before you were in high school? Now 11 year olds have anal and 6 year olds just get into missionary.

I'm in middle school and I want a serious relationship... which is why I won't date until the rest of my generation matures and gets common sense. I don't want to date just for fun or because I think someone's cute. But yes, I love to order off of the kids menu... At Red Lobster I still demand the coloring sheets :-)

Half of my shcool is not mature at all. I'm in middle school, 8th, I still order off the kids menu too. But its absolutely ridiculous when middle schoolers want serious relationships. Its like a 2% chance they're gonna get married or anything like that. I hate that too OP.

I'm a seventh grader ( NO, I don't order off the kids menu) and I totally agree. I mean, the point for dating is to find a spouse, right? And this will happen in middle school? Yeah, right.

People angry over this are lame! There are far too many people in middle school who think they've found their true love after dating for barely a week. It's pathetic! Not to mention the closest they come to anything sexual is probably holding hands. Hahaha!

#13, #23, I agree. #24, that's EXACTLY what it's like at my school. They say 'i love you' after a week of dating; they have NO IDEA! Idiotic 8th graders are already getting pregnant. It's ridciulous.

LOL I know, I'm in high school and I still order off the kid's menu because I can pass for younger XD. But seriously, I still don't think I'm anywhere near old enough for a "serious relationship." I've always been mature for my age, and I think that means that I'm mature enough to realize what I am ready for and what I am not.
