I hate the stress that ensues when you write something down on an assignment, but then realize you sounded stupid, so you erase it. But even though you erased it, you can still sort of read it, and then panic ensues because you think your teacher will read what you technically erased and be like "Damn, they are sooo stupid!"

Hahaha no. This never happens to me or anyone else I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Grow up and figure out that teachers could give two shits about you, and if you simply wrote over it, they'll only see what you wrote, and not the indentation and slim amount of graphite.
