I hate how math is ridiculously hard with the weirdest questions and types. Like am I really going to use this later in life? My career won't take me anywhere -near- math.

You're totally missing the point of learning math. It's not actually about learning how to do math. It's not about learning and remembering formulas or anything. It's about developing the ability to work through problems and think methodically. Math isn't about knowledge. It's about training yourself to focus, think clearly, and work through problems piece by piece using the tools you are given (AKA formulas, laws, theorems, etc...) And THAT is a skill you will absolutely have to use later in life.
