I hate when people try to out do you on negative things. For example... Bob: "I stayed up 'till 2 working on that assignment last night." George: "You think that's bad??? I was up 'till 7, didn't get to sleep 'till 8, and I had to be up at 6!"
"And then I had to walk uphill for 15 miles barefoot to get to school this morning!"
Yup, me too. More than anything. I have a friend who does that all the time. It drives me crazy..
Me too, I have a few friends who do that all the time! It's so annoying. This is kinda the same thing but I also hate it when one of my friends does poorly on a test or whatever and they're like "oh but I was sick that day and she totally didn't explain how to do that one problem and she graded it unfairly" and blah blah blah. Why can't you just admit that you didn't study and didn't know the material instead of making up half-assed excuses?
yes! it's so annoying! On top of that, they'll say, you don't get to complain, mine is ten times worse than yours. And by chance if you somehow out-do them, they'll say, oh well, whatever, it's your fault anyway. SHUT UP, I will punch you in the gut, and although my hand will hurt, your gut will hurt worse and you will win.
Haha, I do this sometimes for things that actually are worse to what that person has said and then afterwards I think to myself, 'Wait.. why am I bragging?'
I love looking at the person and saying, "I didn't know this was a competition" the look on their face is always priceless as they stammer out "I mean... it's not but.. uh..." yeah, thats what I thought.
