I hate the fact that someone actually voted "Not a Pet Peeve" on this story.
To #1: I agree! I'm guessing whoever voted 'Not a Pet Peeve' hasn't been around long enough to still own a Nintendo?
OP: My Nintendo and Sega Genesis both work perfectly!
That's why the PS3 exists. I'm not going to get into an arguement about which is better, because they are both good in many areas, but the PS3 doesn't have the terrible failure rate the 360 does. Just saying.
We lost our Super Nintendo during a move, but the 64 is perfect! Except one game that won't save....
As I said, the 64 is perfect, but my brother 360 had to be sent in for repair two or three times.
360 is a lot more tempermental. Older systems were more better built because graphics and whatnot weren't like they are today. Oh and my Ps3 broke down within a month, and my 360 which I got when it came to my Gamestop (Had it preordered) hasn't broken once. Even through the 8 hour days of Summer. Just saying.
I actually read an article about this - apparently companies like Apple and Microsoft make their products like that now on purpose just so you buy their new stuff when it breaks.
All companies do that nowadays. It's the only way to make money. Crocs are going out of business because they actually made comfortable shoes that last a long time (even though they're ugly as hell).
Crocs last a long time? My older brother didn't have them for that long and the soles were completely worn out.
heeyy i actually have that old netindo! haha
