I hate it when you do a good deed for someone, and they don't thank you. Oh don't mind that I just saved you from a car rushing towards you, I don't need a thanks.
I don't mean to be rude, but you shouldn't "do a good deed" and expect a thank you. It would be thoughtful of them, but you do these things because it's the right thing to do, not so you can be rewarded.
Sounds like you did the good deed to buff up that ego.
They're not trying to be rewarded. It's like me holding the door for my class every day whenever I can, and out of 20-some people, I only get one or two thank-you's. And all the populars mock me with fake thank-you's.
not a good deed if you're only doing it for the thank you or because you want to say that you did a good deed
Although I agree you should just be happy you did a good deed, it can get annoying when you consistently do something good without a thank you.
Sometime it's good to feel apperciated . Yes you shouldn't go looking for thank you's but it is nice to know your apperciated
In fifth grade, it was a rule that we had to say thank you. But, really, it's not the person doing the deed at fault. Whoever it was done for should have manners.
