I hate it when I get six or seven inches cut off of my hair, get it totally restyled, and people say "Hey, did you get a haircut?" Nope. I woke up this morning and BAM my hair was totally different.

It's just one way to start a conversation about your hair :]. I wouldn't go up to my friend and suddenly say, "your new haircut is pretty" since it sounds too sudden.
