I hate how my parents always cheat my age by a year or two to get me in the movies or amusements etc. for cheaper.

So you want your parents to continue taking you out to these places, but you DON'T want them to save money? Maybe when you're not passing for 12 anymore and you have your own job, you'll actually appreciate money.

I hate how my kid always complains that we say he's a year younger than he is to get him in for half price at absurdly expensive amusement parks my wife and I would never go to on our own in a million years, yet still shell out several hundred to bring him to anyway

I'm almost 20 and my parents still do this. I find it more amusing than annoying.
