I hate how my parents can blow every little thing WAY out of proportion. "Mom, that's not how you write a business letter..." "You little - don't you dare talk back to me! Is this what I get for raising you?! Want me to kick you out??" Over a business letter? Seriously?

Asian parents? Me too, dude. >< It's like speaking my mind will shame my family for ten generations, the way they flip out if I say something like, "Y'know, it'd be easier to microwave your food instead of frying it again." They act like I spat in their face and announced I was pregnant with a nameless hobo's baby.

Hahaha! Number 1 is sooooo true! I have South Asian parents who always spazz at me for trying to teach them something. :P

Agree with this whole page. One time my mom tried to get me to try on skinny jeans and started spazzing out when I said I hate skinny jeans. Then she started going on about how they're "in style."
