I hate it when people use the word 'bucks' instead of dollars, when referring to money.
i hate it when people use commas when they clearly do not belong.
It is annoying since only people say it with a weird inflection. "Gimme some BUCKS" or "Gimme some money" sounds so much better.
ME TOO! What does it even mean?
I just think it sounds unintelligent, it doesn't even relate to sounding like 'Dollars' either.
Hahaha, its pretty normal in south africa. But then again, on lik some of our money, we hav springbucks on it, so thats wher we probably got it from.
It comes from when buckskins were used for trade in North America. The shortened term eventually was used to refer to currency.
I hate the forefinger-thumb rub people use when they talk about money. Or when they refer to it as "cha-ching". Ay yi yi. Just shut up already.
