I hate it when people say no offense after saying something really offensive. "your acne is really bad, no offense" "you look really fat today, no offense." you're a total douchebag, no offense.

I know! Half of my friends have this really snobby on and off friend. A couple months ago I was sitting with my friends at lunch. There's nine of us but only eight seats per table, so my friend Rachel had to sit with someone else. The snobby girl then said to two of my friends, "Only 7 (including her) out of the eight people I wanted sat here." She side-glanced at me while saying it, then looked at me and said, "No offense, and I'm not talking about you." We knew she was, though. She urks me.

Also, someone else made a remark about my religion and the Sign of the Cross by saying, "It's so stupid how you have to do that. And I went to a Catholic wedding once. It was just too WEIRD, you know what I mean?"

Yeah, like them saying No Offense or Just Kidding, takes it away. No Offense, if you mean that, you probably should have just not said it. And Just Kidding, ummm... really? I didn't find that funny.

Things like "no offence", "just kidding", or simply "lol" at the end of the sentence doesn't justifies the offence. you might be right OP, these people are nothing but douchebags.
