I hate it when people order the largest, most fattening item on a fast food menu, and then order a diet coke. Ya, that'll balance everything out.

um, it's probably because they like the taste. i love diet coke, but i hate regular coke. it just tastes completely different.

I don't know about the people you're refering to, but I prefer Diet Coke to regular Coke. It's not about the fat/sugar content, just the taste. Don't make rude assumptions. ;)
